Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR) is a self-contained beachside district with hotels, shops, and amenities. The area consists of six blocks: Murjan, Sadaf, Bahar, Rimal, Amwaj, and Shams; Murjan located at the north-east end and Shams at the south-western tip.
Each block has a ground level facing onto JBR Walk, as well as a plaza level, accessible by stairs or lifts from JBR Walk – and each block is made up of several numbered towers. So you might see the location of places listed as “plaza level, Bahar 4” or “Amwaj, JBR Walk” to give an idea of where they are within JBR.
